Avoid Professor Jones at Hope Hospital

I went for two years and it was a complete waste of time - he weighed me, tested my urine and then just sat staring at me before increasing my amytryptline to 125mg.

I was spaced out for the best part of a year.

Now I go to my local pain clinic where I'm assessed on a monthly basis and necessary action is taken.

You are very lucky to find an understanding Doctor, but information and treatments are changing all the time as the medical profession become more understanding of this debilitating condition and here on this forum there is always someone or somebody to offer advice and reassure you along the way.
